Tu jestem – w mrokach ziemi |

...Tu jestem – w mrokach ziemi i jestem – tam jeszcze, W szumie gwiazd, gdzie niecały w mgle bożej się mieszczę, Gdzie powietrze, drżąc ustnie, sny mówi i gra mi, I jestem jeszcze dalej poza tymi snami. Tu się spieszę dośpiewnie, tam – docisznie zwlekam I trwam, niby modlitwa, poza swą żałobą, Ta, co spełnić się nie chce, bo woli być sobą. |

|
I am here – in earth’s twilight, and am – there, in space, In stars’ hum, where unwhole I in God’s mist have place, Where the air, mouth atremble, speaks dreams, to me playing, And I’m here, even further, beyond all this saying. Everywhere I await me, towards me I go, Here I singingly hum, there – I wait hushing slow, And survive, like a prayer, beyond this my grieving, Which would not be fulfilled, to itself rather cleaving. |
