Jedno zdumienie dziennie...

Ile nas jest, ile nas było. 

Łatwo powiedzieć, ile nas jest. Wystarczy 'kliknąć' stronę światowej statystyki prowadzonej przez ONZ lub US, i wyskakuje nam co kilka sekund cyfra. Oczywiście za każdym razem inna, za każdym razem większa. Akurat teraz jest nas 6.541.764.150. 
Ale to już historia. Zaledwie napisałem te kilkanaście słów, stało się już nas 6.541.764.882. Niby drobiazg, a już 772 dusz więcej ze wszystkiego tego konsekwencjami. 
Trudniej odpowiedzieć, ile nas było w całej historii tego świata. Ale i to da się jakoś wypracować. Jeśli założyć że pierwsza para człowiecza, od której cała ludzkość się wywodzi pojawiła się 50.000 lat przed naszą erą, to kolejne populacje w wybranych latach przedstawiały się następująco: 

Jeśli teraz zastosować odpowiednie wzorki, uwzględnić przybliżoną liczbę urodzin na przestrzeni dziejów, średnią długość życia w danym okresie, itd., uczeni wyliczyli, że do roku 2000 przyszło nas wszystkich na świat 106.147.380.169 osób. Oczywiście liczba ta jest groteskowo dokładna, ale to już wina przeliczeń. Nie mniej wynika z tego, że obecnie jest nas ponad sześć procent całej ludzkiej populacji liczonej od pięćdziesięciu tysięcy lat! 
A przez ten króciutki czas pisania stało się nas o godzinie 9.05 tutejszego czasu 4.9.2006 roku 6.541.770.004. 
A więc stało się nas o 5854 więcej. Jedno małe miasteczko.. 
Od napisania notki do wstawienia w sieć minęło kilka dni, a przybyło nas na kuli ziemskiej 2.527.179 osób - dwie duże metropolie rzędu Auckland czy Warszawy!

How many of us are there, how many of us were there.

It is easy to tell how many we are. It is enough to ‘click’on the world statistical page conducted by UNO or US, and a fresh figure appears every few seconds. Naturally, each time a different figure, a larger one. Right now we are 6,541,764,150.
But this is history. I’ve hardly written those few last words, when the figure became 6,541,764,882. A small detail, but already an increase of 772 souls with all the consequences of this increase.
It is more difficult to say how many of us there had been in the entire history of the world. But even this can be calculated. If one assumes that the first human pair, from which all humanity is descended, appeared 50,000 years before our era, then the successive populations in the selected years appear to have been as follows:

If then are applied appropriate models for the approximate birth-rate throughout the ages, the average lifespan in a given period, etc., scholars have calculated that, until year 2000, 106,147,380,169 individuals had come into this world. Of course, the above figure is ridiculously precise, but that is the fault of the calculation. Nevertheless the conclusion is that at present there exists over six percent of the entire human population born since fifty thousand years ago!

And during this minute period of my writing of this, on 04.09.2006 the figure became 6,541,770,004.
Which is an increase of 5854. A whole township.

From the writing of this note to placing it on internet 2,527,179 people were added to the planet earth – two large metropolises of the order of Auckland or Warsaw!
